A division of Group 4 Networks
Toronto's Dedicated Cybersecurity MSSP — Built to Protect Canadian Businesses
The Cyber Arm Security is the specialized cybersecurity division of Group 4 Networks, Toronto's managed IT firm. While Group 4 Networks handles your day-to-day IT operations, The Cyber Arm handles the security layer — 24/7 SOC monitoring, managed detection and response, compliance, and incident response.

How The Cyber Arm came to exist
Group 4 Networks has managed IT for Toronto-area law firms, financial advisors, healthcare practices, and real estate brokerages since 2008. Over time, those same clients started facing problems that go beyond IT support: ransomware attempts, PIPEDA breach notification obligations, PHIPA privacy reviews, and OSFI B-10 requirements that their general IT provider couldn't address alone.
The Cyber Arm Security was built directly from that experience. Not as a rebrand — as a separate security practice with its own analysts, its own tooling, and its own compliance focus. The difference from a standalone MSSP: The Cyber Arm SOC starts with full knowledge of the Group 4 Networks-managed environment. The Microsoft 365 tenant, the firewall configuration, the backup schedule — already known before monitoring begins.
For a GTA law firm or financial services company, that means no onboarding gap, no duplication between your IT provider and your security team, and a SOC that can escalate directly to a team that can be on-site within hours.
The SOC already knows your environment
When Group 4 Networks manages your IT, The Cyber Arm SOC begins monitoring with full context — your Microsoft 365 tenant, network topology, backup systems, and user behaviour baseline. Most MSSPs spend weeks building that picture. We already have it.
Canadian data residency — not an upsell
Group 4 Networks has operated with Canadian data residency as a baseline since 2008. The Cyber Arm inherits the same infrastructure. For law firms and healthcare practices with PIPEDA or PHIPA obligations, this is already documented in the service agreement — not something you need to negotiate.
Compliance experience from real G4NS client situations
The Cyber Arm team has worked through actual PIPEDA breach notifications, PHIPA access-request responses, and OSFI B-10 readiness reviews with Group 4 Networks clients in law, finance, and healthcare. These were real business situations — which is why our compliance approach is practical, not just theoretical.
Remote monitoring backed by GTA on-site capability
When a security incident requires physical presence — isolating a server, recovering from ransomware, or conducting a post-breach review — the Group 4 Networks team can be on-site anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area. This is not an option with an MSSP that operates entirely remotely.
